Hamilton is more dominant than ever... For a while it looked like there might be a good fight between him and Rosberg, but Nico was never quite able to get to him. Also, the battle between Vettel and Massa never got very heated. It's a shame that Bottas had to sit this one out because I think he would have been able to challenge him better. The best fight in the whole race was between Perez and Button, I reckon. Button was great today. So were the Sauber guys, Nasr in particular.

Räikkönen's race was pretty awful to watch; he got bumped by three other cars in the start and then he got stuck behind Ricciardo. The team did a good decision to switch him to a two-stop strategy, because - despite the disastrous pitstop - he was the fastest guy on the track on new tyres and would have challenged Massa, and perhaps Vettel as well. But then they made an even worse pitstop, released him too early and he had to retire because the wheel was not properly attached. Ferrari really messed it up; the only saving grace is that he will not get a penalty for the next race for unsafe release.

The rookies really starred today. Nasr was simply brilliant while Ericsson complimented Sauber's fine day with his eight place. Also Sainz got himself to the points, and Verstappen did well, too, until his car broke down.

Force India made good of the high attrition rate (or should we say: high DNS rate) and got both cars to points, which is more than they could have hoped for, considering their difficult pre-season. For Lotus, the less said about the race, the better.

Well - at least I predicted the top-3 right and won 4,40€. The beers are on me, guys :P

Malaysia, times from FP1:

1. Nico Rosberg Mercedes 1.40,124 (avg. speed 199,300 km/h) - 20 laps
2. Kimi Räikkönen Ferrari –0,373 (1.40,497) - 17 laps
3. Sebastian Vettel Ferrari –0,861 (1.40,985) - 13 laps
4. Romain Grosjean Lotus –1,419 (1.41,543) - 14 laps
5. Carlos Sainz Jr Toro Rosso –1,472 (1.41,596) - 26 laps

Times from FP2:

1. Lewis Hamilton Mercedes 1.39,790 (avg. speed 199,967 km/h) - 16 laps
2. Kimi Räikkönen Ferrari –0,373 (1.40,163) - 29 laps

5. Valtteri Bottas Williams –0,660 (1.40,450) - 31 laps

There is a possibility of a thunderstorm in qualifying and race, but that's nothing new. Another Ferrari podium is likely but whether they can challenge the Mercs is a question mark.
